To move into the “Mother” means to embody an innate higher wisdom that seeks to love and find strength in the fullest expression of your true self. Our bodies are made of 70% water. We are energy in motion, moving fluidly as a microcosm of the macrocosm. Our inner waters moving in harmony with the cosmic womb, the energetic potential of creation. As you move from self-sabotaging patterns of the unhealed maiden, you learn to trust in this innate wisdom as a compass and guide throughout the rest of your life.

The transformation from maiden to mother is an initiation and an invitation to step through the threshold, so your full-bloom force can rise. It is not necessarily a transformation to welcome physical motherhood, but instead an energetic shift into fully loving and embodying the archetype of the Mother within. In learning to Mother your nervous system, and your heart, you become your own nurturer and savior.

Crossing the threshold into the archetype of Mother means trusting your innate wisdom for guidance, learning to nurture your body, mind and soul, tapping into the eternal well of love that flows through you and all around you. You shift into mothering yourself first, finding deep love and reverence for your sacred heart, and then bringing that energy to this world, as we all so desperately need for rooted and awakened women to rise.

Ancient traditions used to follow the rhythms and the cycles of the Earth, as well as our blood cycles with the Moon. Each change ushered in different frequencies of energy to work with. We used to hold ceremony for the phases of womanhood and honored the crossing of the sacred threshold from child to woman. Without the support and devotion of our sisters and community, and the conscious awareness of this transition, we have lost touch with how to usher in this next phase of our lives. 

In this journey, we’ll find our way back to our roots. Learning to worship the divine within.
